SPECIAL MAMMOTH TRAILS MEETING
The next Mammoth Trails meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 7th from 5-7pm at the Mammoth Lakes Library. Topics will include…
- Highlights of Winter Programs
- Sherwins Area Recreation Plan (SHARP) - New Trails
- Trail Days - Sustainable Recreation
- Introduction of New Trail Crew Leadership\Core Volunteer Task Force Program
- E-Bikes
- Trail Facility Maintenance
The Mammoth Trails Committee will be convening a special public meeting for this event to consider an e-bike policy recommendation for the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Committee members look forward to hearing from the public on this topic.
This is a great opportunity to get informed and offer your input on Mammoth Lakes Trail System plans and projects. All trail user groups and trail users are encouraged to attend.
TRAIL DAYS – 10TH ANNIVERSARY
This summer marks the 10th anniversary season of Trail Days stewardship events! The events will take place on four Saturdays over the course of the summer.
- June 2 (National Trails Day)
- July 14
- August 11
- September 15 (The Great Sierra River Cleanup)
Keep your eye out for details as dates approach. But as always, Trail Days events will run from 8:30 am to 1 pm and will include a free breakfast, half a day of trail work, a free lunch and lots of great giveaways! All of this is made possible by the Town of Mammoth Lakes working in partnership with Inyo National Forest and is funded by Measure R. For more information visit MLTPA.org.
