Sign up Today - Trail Days Summer 2022!
Dear Trail Days friends and fans! Our Trail Days volunteer opportunities begin on Saturday June 4, National Trails Day! Shifts for the summer are now open. Remember to sign up one week in advance to receive work locations and duties.
We will be working on new trail construction, maintenance and stewardship activities Wednesdays and Weekends all summer long. We hope you will take advantage of this safe and fun way to get involved with the Mammoth Lakes Trail System and assist with this summer’s focus on fishing line clean-up. Join a host on or around the shores of the Lakes Basin. Select the Water Host shift and let us know if you have watercraft to help!
As always, all ages and ability levels are welcome. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian, and all volunteers must sign a liability waiver prior to beginning work. We will provide all necessary tools and specialized safety gear but ask participants to arrive with personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, sunglasses are fine), and proper clothing for your assignment. And please don't forget your sunscreen, hat, bug spray, or water bottle.
Trail Days are made possible by the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Inyo National Forest, Mammoth Lakes Recreation, and Mammoth’s own Measure R!
Thank you for your continued interest in the Mammoth Lakes Trail System. You can always reach me via email at [email protected] and also follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Best regards,
