MLTS - Trail Days August 11 & Summer Recreation Handout!
TRAIL DAYS: Please join the Mammoth Lakes Trail System along with Co-Hosts Friends of the Inyo and Convict Lake Resort to celebrate 10 years of community trail stewardship with a day of trail work at Convict Lake.
It’s been many summers since there was a Trail Days event at Convict Lake and there is plenty of work and cleanup to be done. Meet at Convict Lake at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 11th for a delicious free bagel breakfast provided by Old New York Deli followed by work assignments. Afterwards we’ll regroup for a gourmet lunch brought to you by Volunteer Eastern Sierra and Bleu Handcrafted Foods, along with raffle prizes, and lots of great giveaways!
Please dress for trail work. Closed-toe shoes and long pants required; carpool or ride a bike if you can. Visit mltpa.org or call (530) 251-6122 to speak with me, Joel Rathje, the Mammoth Lakes Trail System Trails Coordinator for details. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you Saturday at Convict Lake!
SUMMER RECREATION HANDOUT:
The Mammoth Lakes Trail System has made a handy new Summer Recreation Handout. It is available online to print or download. Based on the maps associated with our MLTS signage, it helps identify information about mountain biking, E-biking and hiking. Check it out below or find it on the mammothtrails.org homepage...
